U.S. Citizen Gain and maintain a working knowledge of all Pixia software products Develop core modules for decoding and transcoding video and various compressed image formats, including JPEG2000 Specification level understanding of video streaming and JPEG2000 Stay at par with video and image compression technologies and trends Expert understanding of MISB specifications and compliance levels Act as subject matter expert on all things video- and imagery-related Must be located in the Washington, DC metro area B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent No 3rd party candidates; principals only

Skillsets:

Strong development skills in C++ and/or Java Intimate knowledge of MPEG, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, transport streams, FLV, SWF Intimate knowledge of JPEG, JPEG 2000, Motion JPEG, JPIP, PNG, GeoTIFF, NITF Experience with KLV metadata
